The investment team brings together a complementary set of expertise across finance, law, technology, startups and capital markets, and have worked together for many years in multiple capacities, having managed both publicly-traded and privately-held companies and served on numerous advisory and supervisory boards.
Stefan has more than 25 years of experience in venture capital and private equity. Currently he is managing partner at C3 and holds multiple board positions in both private and publicly listed companies.
Stefan was previously a member of the executive board at FinLab AG, where he led early-stage investments in fintech and blockchain innovation in Europe. Prior to his time at FinLab, Stefan worked for an asset management company in Frankfurt with ca. € 1 billion AuM as well as a publicly listed VC firm in Berlin. Stefan is a German national, a certified lawyer (attorney at law) and holds a master’s degree (LL.M) in mergers & acquisitions.
Juan has been active in the venture scene for more than 25 years. He gained extensive experience in finance and sales controlling at a telecom startup before moving to the investor side in 2007 at FinLab AG, one of the first and largest fintech and blockchain investors in Europe. There, he developed deep expertise across investor relations and finance, eventually assuming the role of managing director and CFO in 2013.
Juan has broad knowledge and experience in the financial sector and serves as a sparring partner for numerous startups across business development and strategic planning. He supports the further development of C3’s ventures with his large network and as an advisor and supervisory board member.
Juan began his career in the areas of finance, accounting and treasury at a large corporate, where he worked for 8 years.
Theo has more than 20 years of experience as a technology and growth investor. As managing partner at C3, Theo serves on boards of numerous fintech and blockchain companies. Prior to joining C3, Theo was senior investment manager at FinLab AG, a market-listed VC firm in Frankfurt and one of the first and largest investors in the fintech and blockchain sector in Europe.
Theo previously gained 10 years of experience at ViewPoint Capital Partners, a European growth capital fund with €200m AUM, focusing on European software and internet technology investments.
Theo is a German national and received a dual degree in business administration and electrical engineering from the Technical University of Darmstadt and Linköping University, Sweden.
